Good paddle for a former tennis player
Ordered Ice 16 couple of months ago and finally got it earlier this week. I tried it today and it has so much power and control. The only thing I don’t like it is dinking. Probably because of my dinking skills. As a former pro tennis player (ITF challenger and couple of ATP events), I will recommend this paddle to all level players. Great paddle, durable surface(I can wipe off ball mark by hand. Maybe I should hit harder to test it) and reasonable price. Highly recommended! Try it and you won’t regret!
I haven't really noticed a difference between the ICE and FIRE. I purchased both. I need to play with both longer for a proper assessment. Haven't said that, I feel that both need lead tape at the throat and 9-3 positions. Read my review about the FIRE, I have the same opinions about the ICE. I love these paddles.
On another note, I'm from Canada and the team at Speedup have been great about any matters that I have concerning shipping here.
I saw this paddle on a podcast and for the price, I thought I would give it a chance. I'm glad I did. Great paddle! So much fun to play with! I love the shape and length of the handle. The longer handle is great for my two handed backhand. Well-constructed paddle with a lot of power and spin. I did add some weight to the sides for stability though. I would definitely recommend this paddle to others!
Good price for a very good paddle.
